For Crying Out Loud

There are a few things in this life that REALLY get on my nerves. One is people who chew with their mouths open and make LOTS of noise when they eat.

Another pet peeve is people who don't use their turn signals ( or blinker if you're from the Midwest). Last I knew, those flashing little arrows are not optional if you know what I mean! Good-NESS! If you're going to turn right, push that lever sticking straight out of your steering column UP. This amazing little light with an arrow pointing to the right shows up, BLINKING on your dashboard!  It's the most amazing sight you ever could see. AND if you push it DOWN, a little arrow pointing to the LEFT will start blinking, letting the traffic behind you, people like me, know what you're doing.

Now those are just silly things that get on my nerves. But one has come up here lately (at least lately for me; us country folk are sometimes the last to get word of new ridiculous politically correct lingo. For example: when I went to school, a pronoun was a part of speech. (Ooooh I know, I might lose readers over this!) NOWadays, however, it's a word you use to describe what to call someone if you are unsure of their "gender identity". So like there was a WOMAN on this art show I was watching, and they listed HER name, Grace, and then "they/them".

Please reread that last sentence. Now, in elementary school, and in my homeschool, a WOMAN is a she, or her. They or them is *plural* meaning, more than one. Now I assure you there was only one person standing there by the name of Grace.  So I guess there's this thing called "binary". It means having or being made of more than one substance. So, yes, this young LADY is without a doubt made up of "more than one" thing. She is made of FLESH AND BLOOD. This whole gender "identity" thing is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of!  Look between your legs: if you have an "outie" you are MALE.  If you have an "innie" you are FEMALE.

*I DO want to make it clear that these statements have NOTHING to do with being born hermaphroditic! That is a TRUE MEDICAL condition.*

God made it very easy to tell how He designed you. I know my opinion may not be popular with everyone.  But I need to tell the TRUTH as I see it according to God's Word. "When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. MALE and FEMALE He created them, and he blessed them...." Genesis 5:1b-2a.  Oh, friends.  It really is that simple. Compare this to our society today:

* Parents leave the "gender" section on birth certificates blank, so that their child can decide what he wants to identify as when it gets older.

* On MANY medical questionnaires, where you identify your gender, it no longer just says "Male" and "Female".  By the way, I APPLAUD those that do! The last one I filled out gave 4 options: male, female, non-binary, and prefer not to say. Sigh.

* Parents telling their children that they can be whatever they decide. Some parents who had a boy and really wanted a girl will actually PUSH their child to "decide" HE really is a girl on the inside. And they should be arrested for child abuse!! You will NEVER convince me that a 6 year old can tell you that he really thinks he should have been a girl. NO WAY.

* Just recently I've noticed that one room bathrooms in all kinds of establishments now say "All Gender Bathrooms". I can promise you this: If I ever see a multi-stall bathroom that says "All Gender Bathroom"??? There will be a whoooole lot of politicians on my speed dial. Some psychopath who "identifies as a woman"  follow a young should NEVER be allowed to follow any young girl into any bathroom!

Let's talk education.  A friend of mine is a substitute teacher in Tennessee.  Now, Tennessee is VERY into high school sports. My friend was subbing a math class, and had different grade levels for each period. For each class, there was a lesson plan.  Except for one. One of the class periods had mostly football players in it; some cheerleaders, and a handful of your "typical" students. The teacher he was subbing for had left this very specific information for him: "This class is full of cheerleaders and football players. Take attendance and let them do what they want."

I sure do wish I was kidding. He showed me! And we wonder why people can't figure out if they are male or female! My WORD!

We need to wake up friends. We need to stand up for what we believe in! Yes, I have strong opinions.  Yes, I have strong beliefs.  And yes, and most importantly, I have strong faith in the God who saved my soul. I know I'm not going to be "popular" in general society.  And I am MORE than okay with that.
